Serving God's Purposes in Our Generation (Acts 13:36b)

No Such Thing As Can’t | Dr Sam Chand

Have you ever had someone tell you, “Oh, No—You Can’t Do That”? Maybe it was a co-worker, a family member, or a friend. Maybe they were kind about it, or maybe they shut down your vision. When others try to keep us from following our leadership dreams, it can be discouraging, to say the least.

Whenever someone tells you that you can’t do something, don’t let that stop you. Keep going after it. Why? I want to talk about two main reasons.

Firstly, everything was, at one time or another, a “can’t.” At one time, people said, “We Can’t Build Roads,” or, “We Can’t Fly,” or, “We Can’t Get Into Ships And Cross The Ocean.” Every product, solution, or service was, at one time, a problem waiting to be solved. So, logically, there’s a first time for everything.

Secondly, we shouldn’t allow others limitations to limit us. Just because somebody else can’t see what you see doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. It simply means they lack the imagination to envision it the way you do. Don’t let their lack of willpower—their “can’t” situation—stop you from becoming what you want to become!

When we are strong enough to stay inspired, keep moving towards our goals, and not give up, even in the face of others saying that we can’t—that’s when we’ll realize our vision.

There’s no such thing as can’t, so don’t let others limitations limit you!

Dr Sam Chand
