Brother DGS Dhinakaran founded the Jesus Calls Ministries in October 1962. The LORD Jesus personally appeared and spoke to him face to face for three hours and transformed his heart to carry His love and compassion to the broken hearted. Subsequently, our dear Brother had mastered the culture of spending hours with the LORD experiencing the grace, power, mercies and revelation of Christ. God has uniquely blessed Brother Dhinakaran with a heart of love and compassion to shed tears for millions all over the world. God has used the Jesus Calls Ministries mightily not only to lead many to Christ Jesus but also leading many to experience the power of the Holy Spirit and the peace of God.
We praise God for Dr Paul Dhinakaran, a great Evangelist and the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Jesus Calls Ministries, International. He is the Pro-Chancellor of a fully accredited Karunya Technical University – the first self-financing autonomous educational college fully accredited by the government of India. The University with 5000 students is offering degrees of Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs. He is also an anointed servant of God who through the Holy Spirit operates the gifts of administration, preaching, prophecy, discernment, knowledge, healing, effecting of miracles and teaching. Born on 4th September 1962, he entered his youthhood away from God, deeply depressed and fully gripped with a fear regarding his future. But the Lord spoke to him through his father Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran, a Prophet that touched his life deeply. His life never remained the same again. He began to prosper in wisdom and knowledge. After completing his MBA, he was the first student in the University of Madras to earn a PhD in management science at the young age of 27.

Dr.Paul Dhinakaran Today, he spearheads the Karunya University that was founded in 1986 with a divine vision to “raise leaders in technology with high spiritual values and commitment to society”. Accredited with “A” grade in the country, this University is located in Coimbatore in a sprawling area of 600 acre lush green campus. Under his able leadership as Founder and Pro-Chancellor, Karunya University has carved a niche for itself in the field of higher education today. The Peace Community Chapel in association with Churches and Christian Organizations in Singapore have been prayerfully considering organizing the Divine Visitation Meetings with the Dhinakarans. Accordingly, a Steering Committee of 26 members from 20 Churches and Christian Organizations has been formed. The Committee met on 17th October 2007 and has approved a budget of $399,267.00 (Three Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Two Hundred And Sixty-Seven Dollars)
The Holy Spirit impressed upon our hearts the following Scripture in Luke 1:78-79: “Through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
