The grass is green on the other side where the rivers flow clear and fast
Trees smell of good green earth and reach upward to hallowed skies
As birds sing forth melodies and winds whistle to the tune of seasons
And I’m crying in the midst of trusting God with all that is with in me
And I don’t know how to face the challenge of not really knowing
But everything will change and things will never be the same
Even when things go sour and I just don’t understand

And I don’t understand what this is any more
Dawn is here…it’s a new day…a new day
Everything will change…things will never be the same
Because God is bigger than I could ever understand or comprehend
And I know that if I trust Him everything will be alright
Because I’m so limited and I don’t really understand what He’s doing
And I remain an instrument in His hand to do as He pleases
For that is my purpose and aim…
