WHAT IS THE SINNER’S PRAYER?
The sinner’s prayer is a Christian term for a prayer that is said when someone wants to repent of their sin, ask God for forgiveness, and state belief in the life, death, and saving resurrection of Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 says that “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Saying The Sinner’s Prayer Is Simply A Way Of Declaring To God That You Are Relying On Jesus Christ As Your Savior and Lord.
There Are No “Magical” Words That Result In Salvation.
