We live in a world of different religious beliefs. And in our global village we all live side by side – if not physically, then certainly
through the media, the internet, air travel, and international terrorism. How do these different beliefs relate to each other? Are they 'leaves on the tree', or 'different paths to the mountaintop', ultimately leading in the same direction? Don't All Religions Lead To God?

There are benefits and pressures of having more than one culture. On the one hand, young diaspora Asians have the best of both worlds. Their life experience can be seen as richer and more diverse than those who have knowledge of only one culture. They can have bhangra and rock,
chapatis and chips, Bollywood and Hollywood.
The international conference attempting to reconcile South Asians across diverse ethnic boundaries was started by a local Singapore Pastor Pritam Singh Sandhu. Crossing strong political and religious boundaries, the South Asian Global Convention SAGC 2009 gathered groups
like Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalis, Sri Lankans and Bangladeshis. The event, which concluded last week, was nothing short of a ‘miracle’ and
‘God’s hand’, said founder and coordinator Pastor Pritam Singh, citing remarks by attendants.
In the great literature of all progressive societies, love is a verb. Reactive people make it a feeling. They're driven by feelings. Market driven spirituality has generally scripted us to believe that we are not responsible, that we are a product of our feelings and enviroment. But such "religious" sounding scripts do not describe reality or knowledge of things as they are. If our feelings or temptation to appease political regimes control our actions, it is because we have abdicated our responsibility and empowered them to do so. Kingdom believers make love a verb. Love is something you do: the sacrifices you make, the giving of self, like a mother bring the newborn into the world. May the church never forget who gave birth to it and at what cost it had been purchased from the world. Now is the time to carry the cross and count the cost.

God has given us inherent natural laws and spiritual laws that we can put into practice to gain mastery over the flesh and to excel and maximize our potential as human beings. Non-believers can also tap into some of these laws and excel in some areas of their lives because of the common grace that God extends to all.

As a pastor for more than 26 years, I have a desire to help everyone. But, I have learned the hard way that I cannot help every person who attends our church or who comes to me for input. The following are ten kinds of people I have identified that are so entrenched in certain habit patterns that I cannot help them advance to the next level unless they make the necessary shift in their attitude or behavior.
It has been my observation the past ten years that the commitment level of the average Christian in the United States has been on the decline. People seem to get offended much easier, it is harder to get people to sacrifice and volunteer, and people seem to be caught up more in the needs of their own lives than focusing on the Kingdom of God. While church attendance is at an all-time high the moral standards of our culture are progressively getting worse. The following are signs an individual Christian or local church are spiritual wimps. (A “wimp” is a person who lacks the commitment, integrity, or fortitude to live a life in line with biblical standards.)
"I definitely want to pursue music as a career, because that is where my passion lies. I have absolutely no complaints. I love who I am and I love what I do," she said. "The future holds a lot of uncertainty in a very positive way. I'm not sure exactly what it holds, but God continues to open new doors for me everyday. I am coming out with a remake of 'One Step at a Time' by famous singer/song writer Jordin Sparks and plan to start touring schools and churches once the song is done," she said. Why the remake? "We will add an Indian touch of beat to this song in pop style for the mainstream audience," she said.
Everyday They Pass Me By, I Can See It In Their Eyes. Empty People Filled With Care, Headed Who Knows Where? On They Go Through Private Pain, Living Fear To Fear. Laughter Hides Their Silent Cries, Only Jesus Hears. People Need The Lord, People Need The Lord. At The End Of Broken Dreams, He's The Open Door. People Need The Lord, People Need The Lord.
My disciples would carry me on their shoulders so that my feet did not
touch the ground. They would wash my feet upon reaching their homes and
would drink that as “anjal” and would meet all my
needs/wants/preferences. All our material and financial needs were
gladly met by the tithes of our disciples. They also served us in every
way possible because they considered it a privilege and honour to
please us so as to please god - guru being a mediator between god and
them.
