Deepak Was Raised In An International Home, And His Childhood Was Largely Spent In Japan. His Family Was Hindu By Descent, Living In A Buddhist Culture, And Deepak Attended A Catholic School, St Joseph’s College In Yokohama. Deepak Moved To Switzerland To Study At The American College Leysin, Completing A BA In Business Administration And Managerial Accounting.
It Is My Conviction That The Awe-Inspiring Wonders Of Life At The Molecular, Cellular And Organismic Level Bears The Fingerprint Of God. A Design Requires A Designer And To Me, The Most Powerful Argument For Creation And Against Evolution Is To Be Found In The Specific Evidences Of Intelligent, Purposeful, Information-Rich Design Epitomized In The DNA.
I Was Born Into A Hindu Family Of Gurus Near Karachi In Sindh (Now In Pakistan). My Father And Forefathers Were “Gurus” Of A Sect Of Hinduism And Were Landed Gentry With All Things Provided For. Our Sect Goes Back A Few Centuries When Our Ancestor Was Given The Keys To Rule And Propagate The Religion Of This God(Jhulelal) Who Appeared To Him.

At One End Was A Shrine Filled With Exotic And Fascinating Portraits, Idols And Images Of Various Deities. The Whole Area Was Decorated And Decked With Flowers To Inspire Awe. My Hindu Parents Were Bewildered And Felt Rejected. But The Change The LORD Was Bringing About Started To Register With Them; My Heart Was Replaced With Deep Gratitude To Them For Their Sacrificial Lives. From “What Have They Done For Me?” To “What Have They Not Done For Me?” Outpoured In Me. Step By Step The LORD Taught Me To Love, Respect And Honor Them Through The Bridge Of Forgiveness.
