India : Religious Liberty for Christians

Ramesh is perplexed.  He always thought that religion was a private affair till he became a follower of Jesus Christ. Ramesh is firm in his convictions having come to the Christian faith through personal exploration of the Bible  . . . However, he is still facing pressures from the anti-social elements to re-convert to the "Indian" religion and his struggle continues daily. Vijayesh Lal writes: Christian Persecution is not a myth but a fact in India. There are various stages of Christian persecution in India from disinformation against Christians, discrimination and persecution emerging in either mob violence or religious extremism. What’s Wrong With Yoga, Especially Christian Yoga?

So, what’s wrong with yoga, especially Christian Yoga? Yoga seeks to lower a person’s spiritual resistance in order to open him or her up to the mystical powers of the spiritual realm. Not only is yoga spiritually and mentally dangerous, it is another way that pagan/demonic practices are infiltrating The Body of Christ through ecumenism. The term “Christian Yoga” is an oxymoron. It goes against the very foundation of the Gospel of Christ, which Christians are here to defend and protect. Yoga is founded on the opposing belief that there is more than one way to God, though the inner self [man] rather than Christ.

Is the Bible the Word of God?

One of the first challenges the Christian faces relates to his acceptance of the Bible as the supreme authority - the only inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God which provides the frame of reference for all that he knows and believes and on the basis of which he could order his behaviour.  Any apologetic that is undertaken must therefore include a defence of the utter trustworthiness of Scripture as originally given in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. It was that prince of preachers, C.H. Spurgeon who said, 'Defend the Bible I would rather defend a lion!'

Sadhu Sundar Singh – Wisdom of the Sadhu

Mourned by millions at his death, Sadhu Sundar Singh (1889-1929) is India's most famous convert to Christianity. He rooted Christian wisdom in a distinctively Indian style and emphasized the life-changing teachings of Jesus Christ. Many Sikhs will be astounded by the discovery of this little saint and fascinated to find out why he would follow Jesus when he already had a rich and deep spiritual inheritance in Sikhism.

Billion Reformers

God has set His eyes and heart on billion reformers who must unseat the princes of the world. A billion reformers will impose jurisdiction and kingship over His people. They will change the landscape of nations through their exemplary lives. Then only can the balance of power shift from the kingdoms of the world to the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ as end time prophecies in the bible come to pass.  (Isa. 2 : 2- 4) There is an utterance in our spirit: a call for BILLION REFORMERS.

Why the Resurrection Matters

The fact of the matter is Christianity does, indeed, rest critically on the reality of Christ's resurrection. It is only through the Resurrection that we can understand who Christ is, what God's will through Him is and why our hope in Him makes any sense at all. Kamal shares.

Does God Exist?

The basic question which has plagued the minds of thinking people down through the ages is, "Does God exist?" Very often a parent has been faced with this very important query by the child: If God made everything, who made God? L.T. Jeyachandran shares.

Christians are Forcing People to Convert

It is unfortunate that evangelism is viewed by many non-Christians as an unwanted nuisance at best and a pernicious effort at forcible conversion at worst. Pastor Santar addresses the core issue here: Are Christians forcing others to convert?
