You and I Are That Someone Special

RESURRECTION – Greek “Anastasis” means
RAISED UP, STANDING UP, RISING UP
Coming Back To Life After Death
A Person Who Is Dead Becomes Alive

1. Resurrection of Individuals
2. Resurrection of the Living and Dead on Judgement Day

RESURRECTION talks about LIFE
THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS
JESUS’ LIFE, DEATH, BURIAL WAS FOR US
JESUS RESURRECTION WAS FOR US

MOST HOPELESS SITUATION
IN THIS WORLD
IS DEATH

But Because Jesus Conquered Death
And Gave His People The Gift Of Eternal Life
WE HAVE ENDLESS, BOUNDLESS HOPE
— IN EVERY SITUATION —

But these are written
that you may believe that
Jesus is the Messiah,
(Messiah = God’s Chosen One, God’s Special Instrument)
the Son of God,
and that by believing
you may have LIFE in His Name.
John 20:31
After His suffering,
Jesus presented Himself to them
and gave Many Convincing Proofs
that He Was Alive.
Jesus Appeared To Them
OVER A PERIOD OF FORTY DAYS
and spoke about the Kingdom of God.
Acts 1:3

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdelene,
His Disciples, Individual Man and Woman
in Homes, at the Beach, in Crowds, on the Road

Even NOW in Dreams, in Visions
in Circumstances, through Personal Visitation etc. . . .

. . . and then Jesus appeared to Peter
and then to the Twelve.
After that, Jesus
APPEARED TO MORE THAN FIVE HUNDRED
of the brothers at the same time,
1 Corinthians 15:5-6

Jesus said to Martha,
I am the Resurrection and the Life.
The one who believes in Me will live,
even though he die;
and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die.
Do you believe this?”
“Yes, Lord,” she replied,
“I believe that you are the Messiah
(Messiah = God’s Chosen One, God’s Special Instrument)
the Son of God,
who is to come into the world.”
John 11:25-26

Jesus is saying
Resurrection in your life
NOW, TODAY, AT THIS MOMENT
Resurrection in your situation
NOW, TODAY, AT THIS MOMENT

Jesus is saying
I am relevant in your life RIGHT NOW
I am relevant in situation RIGHT NOW

Text: John 20:19-23
On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the disciples were together,
with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders,
Jesus came and stood among them and said,
“PEACE be with you!” John 20:19

After Jesus said this,
He showed them His hands and side.
The disciples were overJOYed
when they saw the Lord. John 20:20

At one time, we had NO HOPE
WITHOUT GOD IN THIS WORLD
Ephesians 2:12

MAY THE GOD OF HOPE
FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE
AS YOU TRUST IN HIM,
So That You May Overflow With Hope
By The Power Of The Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

Praise be to the God
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In His great mercy He has
Given Us New Birth Into A Living Hope
Through The Resurrection
Of Jesus Christ From The Dead
and into an inheritance
that can never perish, spoil or fade.
This Inheritance Is Kept In Heaven For You,
who through faith are shielded
by God’s power until the coming
of the salvation that is ready
to be revealed in the last time.
In All This You Greatly Rejoice,
though now for a little while
you may have had to suffer grief
in all kinds of trials.
1 Peter 1:3-6

Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!
As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.”
And with that He breathed on them and said,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.”

If you FORGIVE anyone’s sins,
their sins are forgiven;
if you do not forgive them,
they are not forgiven.”
John 20:21-23

Jesus said
A NEW COMMAND I GIVE YOU
Love One Another
As I Have Loved You
So You Must Love One Another.
John 13:34

GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS,

Mini-Resurrection Daily, At Every Moment

THEREFORE WE DO NOT LOSE HEART
EVEN THOUGH OUR OUTWARD MAN IS PERISHING
YET THE INWARD MAN
IS BEING RENEWED DAY BY DAY

Constantly Renewing Our Status

Resurrection Restores Victory

Resurrection Restores Authority

Resurrection Restores Truth

Lord Jesus Christ,
Son of the Living God,

Have Mercy On Me
Have Mercy On Us
