Serving God's Purposes in Our Generation (Acts 13:36b)

Salt & Light

Salt & Light Most of us spend more than half of our waking hours at the workplace. That’s more than we spend with our family or church. We know what the Bible tells us about being salt and light, serving and leading to the glory of God.

But we all know that living out our faith at work isn’t always the easiest, most straightforward journey. We all could use some encouragement and equipping on how to be overcoming, influential Christians at the marketplace.

Salt & Light is a gathering place for Christians to unite in spirit and purpose to see God in the 9-to-5, to influence and to impact, to find meaning in the mundane, to wrestle with doubt and despair in faith – and find amazing grace for the journey ahead.

OUR BELIEFS

We are Christians who look to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for abundant life, not just in the thereafter but in the here and now.

We have all worked in the marketplace and experienced the challenges of being “in the world but not of the world”.

We believe that on our own, none of us is capable of living the glorious life God intended for us.

But through the death and resurrection of Jesus, His only Son, He has given us the Way back to Him. And whoever believes in Jesus is saved from eternal separation into a life abundant and truly free – both now and forever. John 3:16

Christianity is no mere religion. It is a deep, personal and transformative relationship with God and with each other.

We invite you to walk with us on this journey of knowing and growing in Him. Read our stories, share your stories, and take this even further – back to your homes and work places.

We encourage you to join a church and find out more if you are a new or non-believer, and to ground yourself in a cell group or Bible Study course if you are already a believer.

OUR INSPIRATION

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

“Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.” Mark 9:50
